Internships

The Junior Programme team regularly welcomes interns at it's office in BTC headquarters in Brussels.
Here you can find an overview of current internship-positions within the Junior Programme team:

Development of a didactical tool « coach the coach »

Coaching is one of the key-elements of the Junior Programme. All Junior Assistants are "coached" during their work in the field.  Their coach is usually an international or national staffmember of the BTC or NGO project for which the Junior Assistants work, and (s)he is also living in the same partner country as the Junior Assistant.
Coaches take on the technical follow-up and the professional evaluations with Juniors.
The Junior Programme is exploring different tools to be able to support and train coaches - from a distance - in their supervising work so as to ensure a quality coaching for all Juniors.
The Junior Programme is looking for an intern who, guided by our colleagues, will in a first phase do research on existing tools and approaches in other international non-profit and profit organisations regarding this "coach the coach" aspect.
On basis of this preliminary research, the Junior Programme will decide upon its own approach. In a second phase an intern will be asked to help out with the development of a specific tool to "coach the coach"
